BAKERY FUCHS | ZERMATT

At the end of 2017, the bakery family Fuchs from Zermatt, took over the Hörnli Bakery in the Bahnhofstrasse and opened their fourth store in the well-known holiday resort.

Zermatt's Bahnhofstrasse is a prime location, making it one of the busiest shopping streets in Switzerland. It was without a doubt for the Fuchs family that the flagship store of their franchise had to be built at this location. No ordinary bakery shop would suffice, but a shop of authentic design, which underlines and is representative of the Fuchs brand.

For this project, the family needed a partner who would completely focus on the assignment, because the floor plans, for example, for reasons lack of space, would not have allowed room for a conventional bakery counter.

This is where the "diesigners" came into play: We were given the task of creating our own shop design, including lighting concept for the bakery Fuchs.

So we developed new surfaces, created the entire production planning, produced the shop and organized the reconstruction with a total of 15 different trades.

The implementation was a complete success, not only in terms of the design, quality and functionality of the shop. It was particularly outstanding that we were able to complete the conversion from the complete gutting to the opening, in just six weeks together with all local companies.

Based on this success, we have already been commissioned to plan the next store in Fuchs Corporate Design.
